Do you prefer to hit those long shots, driving the ball as far as it can reach? Or do you prefer more technically challenging shots, negotiating hazards and refining your short game skills? Well at Sherfield Oaks Golf Club, there’s a course for you.
That’s because we have two separate courses and, despite both being 18 holes, they have some striking differences.
The ‘Wellington’ is the more open of the two. This is one for the big hitters where they can really cut loose. It is also, not surprisingly, the longer course at 6,412 yards. Don’t be fooled though, just because it encourage long shots, there are various water hazards around the course, so don’t play it too dangerously!
The ‘Waterloo’ is the shorter course, at 5841 yards. This is a course which demands more accuracy and shot shaping. Perfect if you are looking to improve on existing skills. There are definitely opportunities for birdies here, especially on the 13th hole. You’ll need a good eye though!
Which one takes your fancy? Book a tee time on either course today You won’t regret it.
